Abstract
THE HANDBOOK IS INTENDED TO SERVE AS A GUIDE FOR DESIGNING A COHERENT AND INTERNALLY CONSISTENT PROGRAM FOR JUVENILES. IT ALSO PROVIDES A FRAMEWORK FOR PROGRAM EVALUATION, INCLUDING INFORMATION ON CRITERIA, MEASUREMENT, RESEARCH DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF RESULTS. A SYSTEMS MODEL FOR JUVENILE PROGRAMS IS PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED IN DETAIL. THE APPENDIXES INCLUDE AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF JUVENILE JUSTICE PROGRAMS AND AN EXAMPLE OF A RESEARCH DESIGN AND REPORT.
