Abstract
THE NATIONAL DISTRICT ATTORNEYS' ASSOCIATION RECOMMENDS INDIVIDUAL DEPARTMENTAL PLANNING AND INCLUDES A CHECKLIST SUGGESTING SELECTION OF ASSIGNMENTS FOR KEY PERSONNEL, PREPARATION FOR ADEQUATE COMMUNICATION FACILITIES, AND LIAISON WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS. A GUIDE IS OFFERED FOR THE PROSECUTION AND TRIAL OF DEFENDANTS ARRESTED DURING WIDESPEAD DISORDER. THE NEED FOR AN ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITTEE OF GOVERNMENTAL DEPARTMENTS IS EMPHASIZED. SAMPLE STATUTES, PROCLAMATIONS, AND ARREST REPORTS ARE INCLUDED FOR POSSIBLE ADAPTATION.
