Abstract
Risk factors include individual factors such as antisocial behavior and learning disabilities, family factors such as parental drug abuse and poor family management, community factors such as a high crime rate, and school factors such as the school's lack of attention to student socialization and citizenship. Promising strategies to drug prevention among high-risk youths involve providing these youths with positive opportunities, relevant skills, and appropriate rewards for accomplishments and responsible behavior. Parents, neighbors, teachers, friends, and community service and law enforcement agencies must all be involved in the effort to reach high-risk youths. Photographs, summary of the role of the National School Safety Center, and description of the videotape
