This handbook is designed to provide school districts with a model sexual harassment curriculum for use in a 3- class-hour program with junior and senior high school students.
Abstract
Through a combination of lecture and student activities, students will learn what sexual harassment is, what some of its causes are, the legal liability, how sexual harassment affects teenagers, what victims should do, and prevention measures. The handbook contains three lesson plans. Each contains a set of objectives with an outline for class activities. Teacher notes provide background information to assist teachers in preparing to present the curriculum. Material is provided to enable expansion beyond the 3 class hours. Glossary, case studies, checklists, classroom activities, other support materials, and appended master copies for transparencies
