This report provides detailed findings of the second stage of the National Drug Law Enforcement Research Fund (NDLERF) funded project.
Abstract
This technical report is companion document to National Drug Law Enforcement Research Fund (NDLERF) Monograph Series No. 34 entitled 'Developing the Capacity and Skills for National Implementation of a Drug Law Enforcement Performance Measurement Framework'. This report presents detailed findings of the fieldwork performed during the second stage of the project. The data from the fieldwork was collected in the following four agencies in Australia: the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (Customs), the Tasmania Police, the South Australia Police, and the Victoria Police. This report is divided into six chapters that include: chapter 1 - Australian Customs and Border Protection Service; chapter 2 - Tasmania Police; chapter 3 - South Australia Police; chapter 4 - Victoria Police; chapter 5 - Summary and Conclusions; and chapter 6 - Future Research Directions. Specific data from each agency are included in the appendixes. Tables, figures, and references
