Abstract
Much of the material comes from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and its research arm, the National Institute for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Many documents were developed under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974. Empirical research findings, program descriptions and evaluations, state-of-the-art reviews, and planning and development strategies are among the 165 documents listed. The citations are listed alphabetically within several subject groupings: juvenile justice standards, reports of the National Juvenile Justice Assessment Centers, etiology and prevention of delinquency, diversion, corrections and detention, children and the law, statistical studies, evaluation studies and guides, bibliographies and directories, and plans and reports.
