Abstract
The inspection staff coordinated 63 joint inspections with the State Fire Marshal's office and 12 with the Department of Health and Environment. Staff investigated 26 letters of complaint from individual inmates and/or their friends; made 61 onsite contacts to provide technical assistance concerning inmates' custody, care, and treatment; and inspected 123 operational jail/detention facilities.
