Abstract
This document, produced by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, is the women's prison version of the manual for the guidance of inmates. The manual is intended for use by female inmates at the State's correctional facilities. The manual provides information on the rules and regulations used in women's prisons in New Hampshire. The manual has six major sections that cover the following subjects: (1) Getting Started - Intake, Quarantine, Classification and Assignment to Living and Work Units; (2) Settling In - What Is Expected of You and How to Get Started on the Right Foot; (3) Services and Privileges - What Is Available and How To Get What You Need; (4) Programs - How to Help and Improve Yourself; (5) Parole - Steps Leading To and Along the Road Home; and (6) Appendices - Information you will find helpful. Upon the inmates release or transfer from the institution, the manual is returned to the facility.
