Abstract
AN OUTLINE OF THE MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL TRAINING COMMISSION'S ENABLING LEGISLATION ALONG WITH CURRICULA AND SYLLABI FOR THE MAJOR COURSES OF INSTRUCTION OFFERED BY THE COMMISSION. MINIMUM STANDARDS OF CORRECTIONAL TRAINING WERE ESTABLISHED AND ARE PRESENTED AS COURSES FOR CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS AND FOR PAROLE AND PROBATION AGENTS AND CLASSIFICATION COUNSELORS. A PROGRAM SUMMARY IS PROVIDED WHICH INCLUDES OPERATING COSTS AND BUDGET PROPOSALS.
