Abstract
THE INFORMATION IS PRESENTED IN A SERIES OF CHARTS AND TABLES. THE AUTHOR NOTES THE INCREASE IN HOMICIDE RATES FROM 1960 TO 1972, AND STATES THAT THE 1973 RATE - 9.8 DEATHS PER 100,000 POPULATION - IS THE HIGHEST EVER RECORDED FOR HOMICIDE FOR THE NATION.
