Abstract
This publication was prepared by the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS), Planning, Research, and Accreditation Division, and contains the statistical data and summary information for FY 2009 for the Department. The report is divided into 10 sections: Section 1: FY 2008 Annual Cost Report and Employee Awards; Section II: NDCS's Mission Statement, Ethics Policy, and Vision Points, and Administrative Support in the Department; Section III: a listing of the work of NCDS's Administrative Services, Institutions, Programs and Community Services, Health Services, and Cornhusker State Industries; Section IV: data on Admissions and Releases and Average Monthly Population; Section V: data on the total population of inmates in the State; Section VI: Admissions data; Section VII: data on inmate releases; Section VIII: data on admissions to Community Corrections; Section IX: Parole data; and Section X: Recidivism data.
