During the 1980-81 period, a permanent training facility for New Hampshire's law enforcement community was approved, and the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council's written rules on employing and training police officers were revised and expanded.
Abstract
The council adopted rules governing the employment, training, and certification of part-time police officers, who represent over one-half of the State's law enforcement officers. It enriched and revised the recruit training curriculum, expanded inservice training, increased provision of correctional training, and established an Advisory Training Committee on Institutional Training. Operating and personnel data are provided.
