The New Mexico Judicial Council conducted numerous studies into the administration and operations of the State courts during 1982.
Abstract
The council continued its support of citizen efforts to monitor magistrate courts and suggested that capital outlay and maintenance costs for district court facilities be supported by State funds. It also developed a district court clerk's manual and evaluated requests for additional judgeships. Court caseload data and judicial salaries are presented, and other council studies are reviewed.
