Abstract

This brief document provides an overview of the Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program administered by the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). The document lists the entities that are supported by the BVP Program as being states, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribes; it also informs of the amount of support offered by the program since 1999.
