This document examines terrorist acts as part of a larger phenomenon of politically inspired violence and elaborates on the conflicts that give rise to violence.
Abstract
After a brief review of 1993 terrorist occurrences, there are overviews of terrorist activities in: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. A section on state-sponsored terrorism presents information on activities in Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. Appendixes, insets
