Vehicle dynamics testing was designed to determine each vehicle's high-speed pursuit or emergency response handling characteristics and performance compared to the other vehicles in the test group. Acceleration testing was designed to determine the ability of each vehicle to accelerate from a standing start to 60 mph, 80 mph, and 100 mph, as well as the distance to reach 100 mph and 120 mph. Top speed testing was designed to determine the top speed attainable by each test vehicle within a distance of 14 miles from a standing start. Brake testing was designed to determine the deceleration rate attained by each test vehicle on twenty 60 - 0 mph full ABS stops. Each vehicle is scored on the average deceleration rate achieved. Vehicles were also tested for ergonomics and communications and fuel economy. Motorcycles were tested for dynamics, acceleration and top speed, and brakes. Extensive tables and figures
