DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS ARE GIVEN IN THE AREAS OF LOW ALTITUDE-LOW SPEED OPERATION, DASH SPEED, MISSION TIME, CAPACITY, NOISE, VISIBILITY, AND COMMUNICATIONS.
Abstract
TO DERIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR AIRBORNE VEHICLES, A NUMBER OF POLICE MISSIONS WERE IDENTIFIED. THE MISSION REQUIREMENTS WERE TRANSLATED INTO PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS RELEVANT TO THE SPECIFICATION OF AIRBORNE VEHICLES. THE MISSIONS REVIEWED ARE BASICALLY POLICE MISSIONS AND DO NOT INCLUDE SUCH SERVICES AS MEDICAL AID AND FIRE DEPARTMENT SUPPORT. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
