Abstract
The course relies on lecture, discussion, and exercises to achieve its objectives, and emphasizes awareness, information, and skills development. Specific course topics deal with hazard analysis in emergency management, the analysis of community hazards, hazard vulnerability, the policy analysis process, role analysis in emergency management, role relationships and conflict, policy analysis under emergency conditions, and policy development and the media.
