Abstract

Data are presented on present offense variables, personal background characteristics, criminal history, and furlough participation. The tables included were derived from the computerized data base developed by the Correction and Parole Management Information System. The inmate population is divided according to institution of residence. One section of the report lists the specific nonprerelease institutions and combines the prerelease institutions. The second section of the report lists the specific prerelease institutions and combines the nonprerelease institutions. (Author summary modified)
