Abstract
This DVD was developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as part of its National Bullying Prevention Campaign - "Take a Stand Lend a Hand Stop Bullying Now!" The DVD is intended for use by educators and others involved with young people to stop the problem of bullying in schools and communities. The DVD contains 12 Webisodes, 2 public service announcements (PSAs), and 5 video workshops. The Webisodes were created to show a wide variety of characters at a school who are involved in common forms of bullying either as the bully, the victim, the bully-victim, or the bystander. The video workshops were developed to inform people about bullying prevention and address one of five specific audiences: youth organizations, mental health professionals, health and safety workers, educators, and law enforcement personnel. The DVD also contains an instructor's guide that contains information for those using the DVD. Included in the guide are Web sites that educators can access to obtain more information on bullying, questions for class discussion, ideas for activities for students, and tip sheets for parents to help them recognize the signs of bullying.
