Abstract
A COMPARISON IS PROVIDED ON THE DIFFERENCES IN ARREST RATES BETWEEN A CONTROL AND EXPERIMENTAL GROUP. THE REPORT ALSO INCLUDES AN EXPLANATION OF THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, CHARACTERISTICS OF MISDEMEANANTS, PRINCIPLES OF COUNSELING, SUMMARY OF RESEARCH FINDINGS, AND A FOLLOW-UP LOOK AT ARREST RECORDS.
