Abstract
Data cover the number of male and female personnel; the number of personnel with arrests, limited enforcement, and civilian authority; and the number of officers who left the department in 1980. Information on assignments of commissioned and noncommissioned personnel, on personnel minimum educational requirements, on retirement, police examinations, training and education, and labor union membership is also included. Monthly salaries, fringe benefits, and the 1981 police budget are also given. Salary information is also given for the State Patrol, the University of Washington Police Department, and the Port of Seattle Police Department. Third party arbitration issues are also listed.
