Wisconsin Resource Directory for Crime Victims

NCJ Number
137629
Date Published
1991
Length
170 pages
Annotation
This directory is designed to promote referral of crime victims to programs and resources available in Wisconsin.
Abstract
The directory is divided into general and specific indices and individual program listings. The indices list each victim service agency under the county in which it is located and other counties whose residents are served by that agency. Specialized indices cover adult sexual assault and adult survivors of incest, domestic violence, child sexual and physical abuse, and survivors of homicide victims and drunk driving victims. The individual agency listings contain information for each victim service agency, the client population, and types of services offered. Services are categorized as on-scene response, counseling, support group, therapy/treatment, shelter/safe house, criminal justice support, emergency financial assistance, paralegal assistance, and prevention.
