This training is a virtual, self-paced course offered over a two-week period that concludes with a live roundtable event on February 16. This training is only open to currently sworn law enforcement officers. A National Suicide Awareness for Law Enforcement Officers Program (SAFLEO) training certificate will be available at the conclusion of the event.

Attendees will:

  • Discover the underlying causes of suicide.
  • Identify solutions to the stigma of help-seeking.
  • Identify protective factors that promote strength and resilience.
  • Develop an action plan specific to your agency.
