This 2020 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guide includes a variety of user-friendly sample materials, professional artwork, and tutorials that assist in developing and implementing public awareness campaigns for NCVRW (April 19-25, 2020) and throughout the year.
Abstract
The intent of these materials is to raise community awareness of crime victims' rights, needs, and services, using the NCVRW theme, "Seek Justice|Ensure Victims' Rights|Inspire Hope." Among the video resource options provided is one that has crime victims and crime victim service providers speak about victim needs, services, and rights that require a community response. Police personnel speak about their interactions with crime victims and the types of victim needs they observe and address. Some of the short or edited videos are suitable for television spots.
