This solicitation overview invites applications for the FY 2024 Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative. Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, other than institutions of higher education; small businesses; and for-profit organizations are eligible to apply. Successful applicants receive funding to engage the full range of criminal justice policymakers and practitioners in the development of innovative strategies to improve the justice information and criminal intelligence sharing and technology capabilities of state, local, tribal, territorial agencies, and associated disciplines. BJA encourages applications from organizations that have not received BJA funding before and convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities. The document also provides examples of strategies/activities that can be funded, tips for success, and information about where to get more information and how and when to apply.
