This document package is intended to provide a formal, standardized method of creating and understanding service specifications and service specification packages; it was revised to Version 1.2 with minor changes to the presentation of file names.
This Service Specification Package (SSP) provides stakeholders with template documents for the implementation of the Global Reference Architecture (GRA). Instructions on how to use the SSP are detailed in the Service Specification Guideline Document. The SSP provides nine template documents in addition to the Service Description Document (SDD) and the Service Interface Description Document (SIDD) templates: a business use case model; design document; project charter; service level agreement; software requirements specification; test plan; test results; traceability matrix; and use case specification. The Metadata file, an Excel spreadsheet, provides stakeholders with a list of metadata item names, corresponding descriptions; and other details, such as if it is required or optional, and cardinality; it also provides spaces for value inputs. The SSP change log, text file, provides five descriptions of changes to the GRA SSP version 1.1.0 that produced this updated version; changes listed show corrections to promote consistency in file and folder names.
