"OJJDP's State Relations and Assistance Division Holds National Training Conference" describes an effort to provide information and resources to help states and territories prevent delinquency and improve their juvenile justice systems (September 24-26, 2019). "OJJDP Launches Redesigned Website to Improve Access to Information" describes an effort to modernize the presentation and technology of OJJDP's website in providing direct access to OJJDP's programs and resources. "OJJDP Observes National Gang Violence Prevention Week" (September 15-21, 2019) highlights the Trump administration's commitment to addressing gang-related threats to public safety. "October Is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month" features OJJDP's commitment to supporting states and communities in preventing and treating substance abuse. "Stakeholder's Corner: National Gang Center Provides Information and Tools to Help Communities Address Gang Violence" describes how the Center is a leading resource for communities with chronic and emerging gang problems. "Research Central: OJJDP Study Examines Safe Harbor Legislation" reports on the findings of a study that examined the evolution of safe harbor laws and assessed the laws' impact on the commercial sexual exploitation of children. OJJDP news and upcoming events are reported.
