This video will demonstrate some of the steps used at NIST to process hemp and cannabis botanical samples for the instrumental determination of cannabinoids and other constituents. The procedures shown are generalized to provide examples of laboratory operations and are not recommendations for specific methods. Sample processing steps illustrated include sample transfers, grinding, cleaning, and weighing operations, extractions, and dilutions. (Published Abstract Provided)
