Abstract
THE SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE SOLICITED RATINGS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT EFFECTIVENESS, ATTITUDES CONCERNING WITNESS USE, AND THE JUDICIAL PROCESS, OPINIONS ON BUDGET PRIORITIES, ATTITUDES ON VARIOUS ALTERNATIVES TO INCARCERATION, AND INFORMATION ON VICTIMIZATION RATES AND CRIME COSTS. OVER 500 ADULTS AND 80 YOUTH WERE INTERVIEWED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
