Information is also presented on the current state of veteran offenders in New Jersey's jails and prison, costs of housing these offenders at the Federal, State, and local levels, and the specific needs of veteran offenders. A list of local, State, and Federal stakeholders is also presented, with information on the work of these agencies and organizations to assist veteran offenders. The presentation ends with a discussion of Operation Veteran Reentry established by the New Jersey State Parole Board to assist veteran offenders.
