This course is intended for chiefs of police and high ranking law enforcement officials who may impact deadly force issues within their respective departments. Course goals include developing a knowledge of all essential elements of an effective deadly force policy, demonstrating knowledge of the principal legal and liability issues regarding deadly force, and having knowledge of the methods and skills required to successfully implement change in deadly force policy training.
