The directory provides listings of major criminal justice agencies in New York State. Each listing includes the address, telephone numbers, and names of the agency director.
Abstract
The directory is updated as of January 1991 and is intended to improve the transfer and communication of criminal justice information between Federal, State, local, and private criminal justice organizations. The listings are divided into eight major categories: law enforcement, prosecution and defense, courts, probation, youth, corrections, parole, and State level criminal justice agencies. These are further subdivided where appropriate; within subcategories, agencies are listed alphabetically. Associations in each category are included in the directory as well as all village level police departments and three major level of courts. State Police Troop Headquarters are listed alphabetically by the troop letter designation with the exception of Manhattan.
