Abstract

This In Focus fact sheet details OJJDP-sponsored programs, training, and technical assistance that address sexual behavior problems in children and adolescents. Between fiscal years 2017 and 2019, the Office awarded $4.5 million to enhance community capacity to address this issue. The fact sheet describes programs to address problematic sexual behaviors and to prevent reoffending in youth. It outlines training and technical assistance for community-based intervention programs for youth and treatment services for victims and families. The From the Field section highlights an OJJDP-funded program that provides research-informed treatments for children and adolescents.
