This volume of the Indiana Judicial Report reflects caseload information for every court in Indiana, with subtotals for each county.
Abstract
The report includes data on the number and type of cases pending in each court at the beginning of the reporting year, new cases filed, cases transferred and venued to each court during the reporting year, the number and type of cases disposed by each court, and the number pending at the end of the reporting year. In addition, the volume reflects the method of case disposition in each court as well as detailed data on judicial activities. Method of case disposition includes jury trial; bench; dismissed; guilty plea, admissions and default; violations bureau and closed; FTA/FTP; venued out; and transferred out. Judicial activities include cases referred to ADR; number of special judge appointments; number of cases in which pauper counsel has been appointed; number of cases held under advisement; and special judge service.
