This brief report presents an overview of juvenile education services provided by Stadium View School in Minneapolis, MN.

Abstract

This report is part of a series of reports that highlight programs supported by Title I, Part D, funding. The report presents information on the juvenile education services provided by Stadium View School in Minneapolis, MN. The Stadium View School, located in the Minneapolis Juvenile Detention Center, provides services to students to enable them to continue their education and earn core subject credits towards graduation. The program was developed through a partnership with the Minneapolis Public Schools and the Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation in Hennepin County, MN. The services provided by the school include relationship development, reading and writing learning opportunities, and family and community engagement and transition support. Data on the number of program participants is included in the report along with a brief discussion on the challenges and successes of the program.
