This annual plan sets forth initiatives and project goals for the New Hampshire Court System, establishing priorities for the development and implementation of court programs.
Abstract
It describes the components of the State's court system, summarizes joint projects being initiated, and identifies specific problems within the system that require remedial action. It also presents a statement of overall goals and purposes of the system, specifying over 100 standards as benchmarks with which the courts can assess their performance in relation to their goals. In addition, a multi-year plan is outlined, giving a 5-year strategy for program development and implementation. An annual action plan describes specific programs to be implemented during the current year. The report concludes with a review of project accomplishments to date. Among the items prioritized for the current year are reduction of case delay, court system improvements, law clerks and support staff, improvement of court facilities and security, continuing judicial education, improved administrative procedures, and judicial conduct committee. Footnotes and a few graphs are supplied.
