Nine tables present the validation results for the 1983 Iowa model of offender risk assessment as well as the partial validation results for the 1984 model.
Abstract
In addition, seven predictive devices, including the Iowa models, are compared, and recidivism measures for the Iowa risk assessment validation study are listed. Finally, seriousness weightings for new offenses are provided and the coefficient of predictive efficiency is noted.
