Abstract
This September 2011 edition of OVC News & Program Updates contains several articles detailing the work of the Office for Victims of Crime. The first article describes the Sixth National Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Training Conference, SART: Together We Can, held in Minneapolis, MN, from May 25-27, 2011. The second article is Victims' Voices: The Angel Band Project whose mission is to pro-mote hope and healing through music for those affected by sexual violence. The third article provides brief descriptions of the Visiting Fellows that have received funding to support the work of OVC. The fourth article briefly describes the work of the Menominee Tribal Victim Assistance Advocate program in Wisconsin. The fifth article provides a brief overview of the Department of Justice's new ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) rules that became effective on March 15, 2011. The final section of the newsletter contains a list of resources available for victims of sexual violence.
