THIS REPORT DESCRIBES THE STATE OF DEVELOPMENT OF RHODE ISLAND'S LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNICATIONS AND RECORD SYSTEM AND RECOMMENDS THAT BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS NEARLY COMPLETE LEAA SHOULD PROVIDE FUNDS FOR COMPLETION.
Abstract
FINDINGS INDICATE THAT, WHILE THE SYSTEM IS RELATIVELY SOPHISTICATED AND LARGE DUE TO A LACK OF PROPER PLANNING, IT IS A COMPETENT SYSTEM AND BENEFITS WILL BE DERIVED FROM ITS USE ONCE COMPLETED.
