This report presents performance information reported by Intellectual Property Theft Enforcement Program (IPEP) grant recipients for the January through June 2013 reporting periods.
The purpose of the Intellectual Property Theft Enforcement Program (IPEP) is to increase the ability of State and local criminal justice entities to prevent and prosecute intellectual property (IP) crimes. The program provides funding for IP crime enforcement, investigations, and prosecutions. This update includes performance information reported by recipients of IPEP grants who conducted grant activities. The first section presents quarterly data for January-March 2012 and 2013 and April-June 2012 and 2013 allowing for point in time comparisons. The second section presents quarterly data for the fiscal year 2013. During the first 6 months of 2013, 32 unduplicated grantee organizations were operational.
