Abstract

POLICE OFFICERS ASSIGNED TO THE PIONEER SQUARE SECTION OF SEATTLE WERE ISSUED 1910 STYLE UNIFORMS TO WEAR DURING THE PEAK TOURIST SEASON. A MARKED INCREASE IN PUBLIC COOPERATION AND RESPONSE WAS OBSERVED WITH NO LOSS IN PATROL EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY.
