3.20 Grant Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Penalties of Grant Fraud

If you are found guilty of grant fraud, you may be subject to various remedies available under Federal law, including any or all of the following:

• A ban from receiving future Federal funding;
• Administrative recoveries of funds;
• Civil lawsuits and criminal prosecution; or
• A combination of all or some of these remedies.
