3.5 Adjustments to Awards

Reprogramming of Funds

Recipients may not reprogram their awards to delete or add programs or program activities or move funds from one subrecipient to another without prior approval.

OJP Specific Tip

Retroactive approval will be considered only in extenuating circumstances. The awarding agency may question/disallow cost, or take other remedies, as appropriate, for unauthorized use of funds.
