BWC 201: Growing and Sustaining Your BWC Program (Webinar)

This webinar will focus on sustaining and growing body-worn camera (BWC) programs after the first year of implementation and after receiving approval of the BWC policy development process.

During this webinar, panelists will discuss succession planning and annual considerations for ensuring a successful BWC program and the inclusion of stakeholders throughout the BWC program. Participants will hear from sites who will discuss the evolution of their BWC program, the challenges encountered, and successes realized in such areas as deployment, training, officer and community acceptance, and more.

Regular monitoring and assessment of the program can ensure that the program is meeting all necessary objectives as well as troubleshoot any issues. Elliot Harkavy, BWC TTA Technology Advisor, will set the context for this webinar by discussing the current and emerging technology considerations that should be evaluated throughout an agency's BWC program.
