This report from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention contains a directory of resources on missing and exploited children for use by law enforcement and other public and private agencies.

Abstract

The Federal Resources on Missing and Exploited Children's Directory was first developed in 1996 as part of the Federal Agency Task Force for Missing and Exploited Children. The directory, for use law enforcement agencies and public and private organizations involved in the safe recovery of missing children, contains the most up-to-date information on and links to other agencies and organizations that can help in finding a solution to the problem of missing and exploited children. The directory includes a list of the services, programs, publications, and training that are available to address issues of child sexual exploitation, child pornography, child abduction, and missing children cases. For the 16 Federal agencies and 2 non-Federal agencies, it describes the role of each agency in the location and recovery of missing and exploited children, the types of services and support that are available, the various methods for accessing these services, and additional resources.
