The programs include academy programs, auto theft prevention, neighborhood watch programs and other forms of community-based law enforcement, community policing, community relations programs, diversion programs, drug abuse education, drug and crime task forces, drug law enforcement, and gang prevention and elimination. Additional programs include general crime prevention, improvements in police service and management, mascots, patrol services, police- assisted community enhancement, police-school partnerships, repeat offender programs, social service programs, traffic safety programs, victim assistance programs, and other programs.
