A GUIDE TO CONDUCTING COURT STUDIES AND A RELATED REPORT ON A CONFERENCE ON COURT STUDIES COMPILING THE PRESENTATIONS OF THE CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS.
Abstract
PART ONE OF THIS REPORT IS A MONOGRAPH WHICH DISCUSSES THE COURT STUDY PROCESS AS A WHOLE. IT IS ARRANGED TO PARALLEL THE NORMAL SEQUENCE OF EVENTS WHICH WOULD TAKE PLACE IN INITIATING, CONDUCTING, AND CONCLUDING A COURT STUDY. GUIDELINES ARE PROPOSED FOR THE PREPARATION AND ISSUANCE OF REQUESTS FOR STUDY PROPOSALS, THE SELECTION OF A CONSULTANT OR CONTRACTOR, STUDY INITIATION (PREPLANNING), MONITORING THE PROJECT, STUDY REPORTS, AND IMPLEMENTATION. PART TWO OF THIS REPORT CONTAINS COPIES OF THIRTEEN PAPERS PRESENTED AT A CONFERENCE ON COURT STUDIES HELD IN DENVER, COLORADO, IN MAY 1973.
