Technical assistance and training grants funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) from 1987 to 1988 are noted, along with BJA project activities in selected States.
Abstract
The BJA-funded projects deal with drug treatment in the jail setting, the local prosecution of drug offenses, technical assistance for correctional agencies, adjudication, narcotics control, crime prevention, victim assistance, juvenile restitution, law enforcement agencies, and information systems. For each project, data are provided on constituencies and jurisdiction; addresses, contact persons, and telephone numbers are also given. BJA project activities are summarized by State, with information included on the date of activities, jurisdiction, services, and training provider.
