Abstract

In this Justice Today episode, the recently appointed Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Director, Karhlton F. Moore, discusses with host Karen Friedman, what attracted him to BJA and his plans for the trajectory of the office. Moore talks about his personal and career history, including some lessons he has learned during his career in criminal justice as he worked with state and local governments in Ohio implementing the grant programs he now oversees. He also lays out some of what he hopes to accomplish at BJA and provides details about some of the programs, projects, and initiatives that BJA supports.
